Mr. Schumann recently played his guitar for my daughter's wedding and cocktail hour. He arrived in plenty of time to set up and was dressed very handsomely in a tuxedo. Very professional looking. With everything else going on, the one thing I did not have to worry about at all was the music. George took care of everything and his timing was spot on. Perfect. His song selections were amazing and we received dozens of compliments on the music at the end of the night. During the entire wedding planning process, I really really wanted to request a special song for my husband and I to dance to. Alas, I was just too busy to ever make the request to George and I never said a word about it to anyone. To my utter amazement, the very last song of the night was our song. The very song I wanted to request but never found the time to make. My husband and I promptly danced with tears in our eyes. What a blessed ending to a most joyous occasion. Thank you for everything George! Worth every penny and then some!! The memories you helped to create are priceless and will live on forever in our daughters wedding video and in our hearts.

I searched and searched for a live music option for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I reached out to several, listened to a ton of their samples, read reviews, and just didn't fall in love with anything that I found. I re-visited The Knot and found George. He responded quickly to my email inquiry, pointed me to his additional sample links, and we talked about my ideas and thoughts for our upcoming wedding. George played his recommended songs during guest arrival time and then my requested songs for the ceremony. George continued to play during our cocktail hour until the guests were seated for dinner and we switched over to a DJ for open-dancing. So many people commented on George and how much they enjoyed his music. George was responsive to any and all questions I had, provided suggestions when I needed them, and overall was a great pleasure to work with.

Couldn't have been better. George was so easy to work with, he offered to learn and did learn new songs for us, he was competitively priced, and he even played for a bit of extra time due to delays. He was totally awesome. One short anecdote: During our processional, in the midst of many slow marches down the aisle of groomsmen and bridesmaids, a flower girl bolted down the aisle at a full sprint. Without missing a beat, George sped up the pace of his processional music to match the running flower girl, then slowed it back down as the rest of the wedding party proceeded at the previous, slower pace. It was just a beautiful moment of spontaneity. We're so grateful to George for being part of our special day; you should consider making him part of yours, too!

George is a GEM!! We hired George for our ceremony and for the cocktail "hour" prior to the reception. He played flawless acoustic guitar for the reception, all songs that we specifically requested, with no mention of "that one's not on my website/songlist". One of the songs was an expert-level fingerstyle cover and when I sent a sample he replied he had played it once before for a wedding in 2014. Wow! For the cocktail hour he used an amp and played a perfect set of crowd-pleasing tunes without being too overbearing or distracting. His prices were extremely reasonable (a steal really) and his professionalism and organization impeccable. Highly recommend!!!

George was outstanding! After visiting a few local places to hear him play live prior to booking, it was clear he was the best person for our celebration. We had eloped at a nature preserve, and George went so far as to pack in/out his guitar, amp and music over a half mile total in his tux so we could have music at our ceremony. He then set up at New Albany Country Club for a private dinner party celebration where he provided a lovely evening's worth of great music. Several guests went so far as to sing along to some of the hits. George was extremely accommodating, really going above and beyond to meet our needs. We even worked with him to arrange a couple songs of our choosing. I 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a classy or casual affair. Already looking forward to hearing him on a Friday or Saturday night soon.

I wanted a guitarist for the ceremony/cocktail hour of my wedding in October. George was nothing but professional, fun, and quick to respond. About a month or so before our big day, he invited my fiance and I to a sushi restaurant where he plays. He played our our songs for us while we sipped on wine and ate sushi. George performed during the ceremony at my daughter's wedding this past weekend in Columbus.  Beautiful stylings of an eclectic mix. Many of those in attendance commented on his lovely performance.   George is wonderful to work with as well!  Many thumbs up from this grateful father of the bride!

2/18/17  Wedding Ceremony at the Columbus Athletic Club

George was wonderful, from the first moment of contact until he was done performing on our special day.  I come from a family of musicians and grew up with music being a huge part of everyday life.  As critical as we can be, every one of my family members and so many friends commented on how great George sounded. We asked for several songs that George specifically learned and arranged to play during our ceremony, and he did an amazing job!  We highly recommend him and couldn't have been happier.  Thank you so much George:)
